Properties
It is important you know about property pages. A lot of elements in Footsteps have such a property page. These can be accessed by selecting "Properties" inside the contextmenu. A window will appear, of about the same size as a wizardwindow, but this time with tabs.
On the property window you can change almost all properties of an element. Mostly the available options are the same you saw before inside the wizard. Like in Microsoft Windows, you can choose "Ok", "Cancel" and "Apply".
- Ok - apply properties and close the window.
- Cancel- Close the window without applying the changed properties.
- Apply - Apply changes, and leave the window open for more changes.
