Page Profiles

Profiles, available since December 2006, are developed to help you maintaining your website. A page contains several objects. These objects can be adjusted individually, per page. It is also possible to determine which objects to use, inside so called "containers". Although this gives you much freedom as for dynamics, it can be a nuisance if a certain propery has to be applied to all pages. In this context, profiles are a relief.

Inside a profile, you can save objects and their properties. Each page to which this profile is applied, will adopt these automatically. You can enter profiles by pushing the button which is located left next to the button "SEO". The title of the profile button is the profile name which is currently applied. If you push the button a menu will appear. This enables you to select an existing profile, or to create a profile, or to edit the profile currently applied.

Select a Profile
You can select an existing by pushing the profilebutton and leftclick "Choose Profile". A list will be shown with the available profiles. After pushing the profilebutton you can also choose to no longer use a profile, and to configure the whole page manually.

New Profile
To create a profile, push the profile button and leftclick "New Profile". After you entered the name for the new profile, you can pick from a tree view which objects have to be maintained by this new profile.

Modify Profile
You can adjust the current profile by pushing the profile button and leftclick "Modify current Profile". You can change the name of the profile, and after that the objects which have to be maintained by this current profile.

If you create or modify a profile, the properties of the page at that time, will be imported and saved. After this, if you modify properties of the page which are maintained by the profile, and you save the page, the system will ask you if you also want to apply those changes to the profile.

Attention:
If you decide to remove an object from a profile, the properties of the object on all pages to which the profile is applied, will fall back on the saved properties inside each page.
